I had to go to the office earlier than usual today as I needed to guide a staff on the morning tasks. I told Jeremy about it and that his father would send him to Aunt Adele house. He said 'no, follow Mommy'. So, I quickly gave him his egg, his vitamins and brushed his teeth.
Then I went up to get ready. When I came down, he was playing. He said 'play first'. I told him that mommy has to go now, if Jeremy wants to play daddy will send to Aunt Adele house. He said 'follow Mommy'.
Before getting into the car, he said 'wait for daddy'. He wanted to watch his father leave the house first. I explained to him that daddy isn't leaving yet. He refused to listen. He stood at his usual watching spot and cried. I told him that mommy is leaving with or without him. That got him going. He was still crying when I put him in his car seat but stopped in a very short while.
Of course at the play school we had to go through our usual morning routine.
